Wow, it is cool I’m sure it is a fun event. I have been doing article writer freelancing. Does it have gigs to non-US resident?
I haven’t looked at these specific writing gigs, so just look around and see if they accept telecommuters. If that’s the case, it shouldn’t matter where you are.

Does it matter what state the job is in? I mean, far as ai remember, most of these writing jobs they want telecommuters. Or have things changed a lot now, and you need to be in the same area?
I think it depends on the gig. Some want you nearby for meetings and such, but if you’re persuasive you might be able to change their minds. I haven’t looked at these jobs yet, so I can’t say specifically.

freelancing has all but dried up in the UK. all magazines are stopping hiring freelancers and starting to lay off staff writers. all my friends are looking to retrain (mainly as teachers) isn’t it the same over there??

Thank you for the list of freelance writing gigs. I found soem good opportunities in California that I will inquire. I was talking to a fellow writer and we mused about the future where the myriad postings for the next “hot writing job” will be the Twitter ghost writer. LOL
