Link love

rusty chain

Subscribing to others’ blogs is a great way to keep up with your interests, make new online friends, and learn new things. I’m subscribed to several, but hadn’t made the time (until today) to read through them.

As I peruse my feeds, I’ll let you know when I find some interesting articles.

There’s a wonderful list of resources, for any type of entrepreneur, over at Cath Lawson’s Tips for Success in Business & Life. I’ll be regularly checking her blog, since I seem to need lots of motivation to get my business(es) off the ground.

Stay tuned for more!

I’ll agree with the making friends part. One of the most enjoyable parts of my work is interaction with other bloggers.

But there’s already so much info on the internet, its very difficult to limit yourself to specific blogs. Widens your perspective if you start off from a news or topic aggregator like Google News or Blog Search.

  3. I regularly visit Cath Lawson’s Tips for Success in Business & Life and yes, like you the reason why I read her blog is that I learned a lot from her and I get valuable tips that I can apply not only in my online gig but also in my personal life.

My Google feeds and alerts are always full of messages but I seldom read them all. It is not less than a magic to receive all that good stuff without any effort. I’ll be looking at the link you have provided here.

  5. Yes, reaching out to other bloggers is one of the most enriching and rewarding part of being a blogger. However, I found it to be difficult in the beginning. I was very intimidated and had to force myself to do it.

I would encourage others not to hold back. Reach out and say hello…you’ll be surprised at how many other bloggers feel the same.

  6. Thank you for Cath’s link. Through her interesting blog, I found John Goddard’s complete amazing list. I’ve been reading a lot about NASA’s Goddard station. I wasn’t aware until now that it is named after a famous adventurer; just like the Hubble Space Telescope, which is named after an astronomer, Edwin Hubble.

  7. Hi Theda, thanks for sharing your resources. I’ll sure check this blog regulary. Thanks.

  8. connecting to other bloggers is one of the most enjoyable part of blogging. I’ve also learned so much by interacting with my fellow bloggers and readers.

Nice article on the link and I was really impressed. I can see others working for their sites day and night. They struggle for links and build anchors. A few days back, I purchased a site which have its main keyword in its domain and site was not even in first 1000. It had 3 PR and I was surprised. After analysis, I discovered that it was over optimized. Now, it is on first page, even holding first position in Google. I think getting links and links is not the right way to success.
