I agree 100%. Being persistent is fundamental. Clear goals, strategic steps, and hard work make successful businesses.

It takes time and persistence. Good use of the garden analogy.

Very true, very true. Sometimes it can be difficult to remember that each small action we take to market our businesses is helping to build and grow something that will give back to us and provide for us in the future. Great words of encouragement!

That is the hard part about business, is you have to keep pushing towards your goals even when the excitement wears off, and when you feel like you aren't getting anywhere. It takes time and persistence. Good use of the garden analogy. It's like the Little Red Hen, no work, no food. In this case, no work, no return.

On another blog i was reading about successful blogging. Someone has described it in seven "P"(Patience, productive, persistent etc). I think patience is the key to success and a blogger can't be successful with out that.

Completely agree, putting yourself about is a great way to gain extra business and even though it takes time it is well worth the wait.

Plus the more competetive your area is the longer it takes to see some results, it all depends on your relationship with your client i guess and how much he trusts you.

Take time it does. And thanks for reminding me to plant a few seeds. Sometines you get a bit comfy with your existing clients, and it comes as a shock when you're left high and dry.

You hit the nail on the head when you said it takes time. With ANYTHING it takes time, especially a business. Blogging for example is a big one that most people quit after 3 months and you're not going to see any love there for at LEAST that long. Like a business you need to nuture it to let it grow!
