Number four should be the Golden Rule of Blogging. There is nothing worse than every post being about why you haven’t posted in the first place! I love that I don’t have to worry about those kind of posts on your blog. I’m sorry you were sick, flu is no fun at all.

Hi Patricia! Of course I have to respond! Yeah, I thought i could keep up, but what happens is people respond to posts all over the place (weeks will have gone by), a lot of them are moderated first, so I’m going through sifting through the spam, etc.

I’m trying to give myself a responding schedule, but I’m also trying to get a schedule at home for my daughter, businesses, job hunting, etc.

Speaking of which, I gotta run ’cause it’s time to take my daughter to a gym class! So much to do. So little time. Thanks for understanding!

So true about comments! And you have so many! I don't see how you could possibly respond to all of them. You certainly do not have to respond to this one. The way I see things, blogging is about personal expression. Some people blog commercially, but this really isnt what blogging is about. In fact, I’d prefer if people called it something different.

Blogging should bring you happiness, and it is something you should always do for yourself. If you are always worried about pleasing the reader and staying ‘on topic’ then you stand to lose the entire purpose of blogging.

Good points, Fred. I’m going to work on doing a better job at replying, but if I get bogged down or have a ton of old comments, I’ll focus on at least what you mentioned.
