Going on vacation

I can dream, can’t I?
A vacation would be wonderful, especially since the last time I went anywhere just for the fun of it was the Bahamas, and I won’t tell you how long ago that was (or how short my visit was). It was beautiful, though. The beach was amazing, with sand that was so white, and with ocean water that was so clear and blue. I’d love to go back one day.
Because I lived in Detroit, I often visited Canada. And thanks to Anne of Green Gables (one of my favorite non-fantasy/sci-fi book series), I’ve always wanted to go to Prince Edward Islands. One day I’ll have to check out the rates for flights to Canada from Arizona.
I just found out about a company called DialAFlight where you talk with someone over the phone to book your next vacation or holiday. If I’m ever in the market, I’ll definitely see how they compare to other travel agencies. It never hurts to shop around.
When was your last vacation? Where did you go?

It doesn’t count as a vacation if the kids are along, does it?

I’m in Cleveland so yeah, I can’t wait to go back… =)
Sure you can dream. If you love traveling, that’s a different issue, but if it’s a question of having fun, you don’t need to spend your rebate check on a vacation…You can have fun in your own backyard by putting up a tent and an inflatable swimming pool.

I live in New Brunswick and about 5 hours drive from PEI. I definitely recommend it — it’s beautiful there!
There has been a long time since I went to travel last time. I am so busy in my job and traveling is one of my dreams now^^
On my last vacation trip, my wife and I went to … transylvania! This is a beautiful, rocky part of Romania. Cheap, gorgeous, friendly. With lots of character and unforgettable memories. And the best thing - very few tourists! You know, no families with crying kids, no traffic jams, no waiting for a free place in a restaurant - paradise.
Vacation..that really sounds wonderful. I had plan to go to Bali, Indonesia on July. They got beaches with great view there. Surfing, diving, man.. I can’t wait July to arrive.
I just got back from Savannah. Just before that, I hit a bunch of tourist attraction in Atlanta that I haven’t been too, although I’ve lived in the area for a long time.
