I had the same issue with my child, we had her go for a few hours 3 days a week and as she got to make friends she wanted to go more.

Finding the right situation for each individual child can be tough, I hope you found something that worked well for your daughter!

Well like you said, your little girl is energetic so maybe she doesn't need to take a nap. If you can explain that to the daycare teacher, she can let her do something else while the other kids nap, like do some crafts or read a book, or color a picture. I'm sure most teachers would be nice enough to accomodate your requests.

When my son was 3, we took him into daycare and had something similar happen with him. He threw fits because he didn't want to take a nap. We eventually took him out and nana watched him until he started school. My daughter is now in daycare and she takes naps, but cries everyday that we take her. This is something that is tramatic for the child as well as the parent, but what else can you do?

Well, maybe she just doesn't want to take a nap. I mean, if a daycare teacher tried to put me to sleep when I didn't feel like it, I'd give her a good kick in the shins. You need to trust your daughter some more, and find out what she really wants to do, and maybe explain that to the daycare.
