Meeting with clients long distance

Many freelancers work with clients remotely. The world’s the limit!
But there are times when meeting face-to-face with a client or even a prospect might be a good idea. Email correspondence can leave too much room for interpretation, and phone conversations are only a little better.
There’s a fairly new company, LifeSize, that offers high-definition video conferencing services and other products to help you connect with people all over. They even have what they call “LifeSize Room” where you can connect up to 6 people at a time.
Check out LifeSize if you’re looking for ways to reach out to your customers in a more true-to-life way.

e-mail correspondence is my preferred mode of communication. add to that, the various chatting tools make ur work a breeze.
Yeah, right…I just wake up and find a client wants to talk to me, and when he sees the way I look when I’ve just woken up, he has a heart attack…
I’ve used LifeSize and would probably recommend them again. There are some other options out there but so far they’ve been one of the best.
yeah, LifeSize is good. I always think working face to face (or at least through video conversation) is better to know your partner but email is still preferred by most people due to its simplicity.
I use skype for all of my remote meetings. The quality is great and its free.
I have found an increasing use of chat apps-especially when dealing with internationally. It’s free, and in many cases you can file share, etc.
