If you don’t know how to write or you don’t have the necessary tools hiring a freelance writer is THE solution.

The thing to consider before hiring one is the ratio between budget & expected ROI. You can spend $200 if you know the way you’ll use the articles will make you more than those invested $200.

You just need to check a few things before sending the full payment such as:
- you writer has to be (preferably) a person with English as mother tongue
- the content must pass CopyScape

I have used writers on many occassions and always been delighted with the work. I think they do a better job of researching the topic and indeed constructing the actually content than i ever could. The other huge factor is time, i dont have the time to write, instead i use may time doing things i am better at and leave the writing to the pros.

I agree with all that you say about hiring freelancers. In our business we’ve hired quite a few of them. The majority of our problems arise from poor grammar. We hire after receiving samples that are perfect and work done by someone else, it’s pretty clear.

All good points for hiring freelancers. I think the pros far outweigh the cons. companies just need to know where to look; that’s where the freelancer needs to make sure their name is out there.
