Housekeeping when working at home
Stay-at-home-mothers, entrepreneurs, and other busy types have a hard time keeping things neat and orderly at home. There’s a million other things to do, right?
My problem is that I never understood how to keep things neat. My mother tried to teach me. Some people learn quickly. But not me. My brain just didn’t get housekeeping.
Lately I’ve been doing a lot better, though. I’m learning to spend at least 15 minutes everyday to declutter, shine my sink, make my bed, and other little habits that I hope will add up to a nice, clean home.
Check out www.flylady.net. This cute, free website will kick you into shape. I get daily emails reminding me about stuff I’d never have thought about, and it gives a plan of action for housekeeping. For now, my home is still cluttered. But I see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Some days I just cannot get anything done in the house it is like an ever ending stream of answering thr phone and door, feeding the kids, breaking up the fights, thank good for mums eh?
It is funny when I worked outside of the home my house was much cleaner. Now that I am at home it never seems to be clean and I just can’t justify the money for a cleaning lady.
