Learning to affiliate myself
Welcome back! I hope you’ve noticed that I’m now asking readers to subscribe to my RSS feed (at the end of every post). It’s a convenient way to see what I’ve been up to without having to come to the blog all the time.
I’m also embarking on the world of affiliate marketing. I only affiliate with products or companies I’ve done business with (and that I’m satisfied with). I also realize many of my readers are business owners. Hopefully I’ve chosen affiliates that coincide with your needs.
Specifically, I recommend Homestead.com (I used their service for my company’s website); AN Hosting (the host of this blog); Linkshare (where you, too, can affiliate with lots of companies, at no cost); Overstock.com (save money on things…check often for specials I’m running); and Office Depot (stuff for your business…and check back for specials).
Even cooler, I get to give out coupon codes to help you save more (for AN Hosting, Overstock, and Office Depot occasionally). If you’re interested, email me.
Playing with this new blog has been fun so far. I dredged up memories of when I used to write html, and figured out how to add the banners. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to make another column for this theme. Anyone know how? Care to share?
